Enjoy a spectacularly scenic coastal train journey to Ireland's sunny south east. We travel by rail along the coast to the historic town of Wexford where we join our coach and a pleasant journey to the historic Viking City of Waterford where we visit The Waterford Crystal Visitors Centre.
A visit to Kilkenny City and a train journey back to Dublin concludes our tour..

ITINERARY

Check-in Dublin Connolly Station (Customer Service Desk) for 09:40 departure of intercity train for stunningly scenic rail journey along the south Dublin and Wicklow coast passing Killiney Bay – often compared to the bay of Naples. We continue along the coast to Wicklow where we swing inland through the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains before joining the coast again at Arklow. At Enniscorthy we join the banks of the River Slaney and have a beautiful riverside run into Wexford Town.
Here we transfer to our coach for a short tour of the town. We see the statue of Commadore John Barry founder of the American Navy before we journey through New Ross to Waterford City in time for lunch (not included). A visit to Waterford Crystal visitor centre in the heart of this viking city is included.
After a couple of hours exploring and shopping we depart Waterford by coach to the ancient city of Kilkenny allowing time to explore this small medieval city.
We leave Kilkenny by train at 19.15 (7.15pm) arriving at Dublin Heuston station at 20.50(8.50pm)
Arrival back in Dublin at 21.00.
