TESTIMONIALS!

Just wanted to let you know Liam did a real good job on our tour to Cork the other day! Very Happy.

Larry and Mary McCormick, U.S.A. March 2010

Dear Railtours Ireland -

We recently took your 4-day Grand Atlantic Tour and had an truly amazing time!!!

We had Billy as a guide in Cork, Cobh, Blarney as well as from Limerick to Galway.  He was incredibly informative - with great wit and a twinkle in his eyes!  He truly made your beautiful country come alive with stories, anecdotes, a bit of history and lots of humor.  From our arrival at Dublin Airport through our return from Galway to Heuston Station, every detail was handled without flaw. The accomodations in Killarney and Galway were excellent; their locations allowed walking to the city centers which gave us the opportunity to explore.

Please accept our sincere thanks for a fantastic and most memorable, not to mention beautiful, trip to Ireland!

Sincerely,
Juan & Rebecca

We recently had the opportunity to visit Dublin Ireland on a week's vacation. During our stay we booked an excursion with your company for the Cliffs of Moher on February 11th, 2010. Our tour guide was Dave Gallagher, we really enjoyed the tour and was extremely pleased with Dave, not only did he provide excellent tour information concerning the rail tour but he also sat down with us on the train ride back and made some awesome suggestions to us for places to see in Dublin for the remainder of our vacation. His wealth of knowledge concerning Dublin was priceless, he guided us exactly to the things we were hoping to find in Dublin. Our only wish would have been to take your tour early in the week so that we would have met Dave earlier.

On February 6,  2010 my husband and I took your Giants Causeway tour that departed out of Dublin.  Dave Gallagher met us at the train station in Dublin and accompanied us back and forth to Belfast.  We would like you to know how wonderful our experience was, largely because of Dave.  He greeted us quite promptly, escorted us to the train, and insured that we had comfortable seats, facing in the correct direction, etc etc.  He left no detail to chance and made this early morning trip quite pleasant.  On the train he then proceeded to give us the highlights of the day's adventure, so that we would be able to enjoy our excursion to its fullest.  He also gave us tips on activities, pubs, restaurant, etc for the remainder of our stay in Dublin.  Dave answered all our questions, wrote down names, locations, times, etc and even located the suggested venues on the map.  Later in Dublin, we were actually able to take advantage of Dave's suggestions and found them to be excellent recommendations.  He is obviously quite knowledgeable about Dublin and his suggestions made our trip very memorable.  Dave is very professional, extremely personable, and I would recommend his tours to anyone.

Sincerely,
Maureen Turner and Mike Masson, February 2010

I would like to commend to you Tour Guide David Gallagher.  My wife & I recently completed our vacation to Ireland.  During that time we took one of your tours to Devils Causeway.  David was the fella that met us at the train station and accompanied us to and from Belfast.

Throughout our entire trip David was quite impressive.  His willingness to share his indepth knowledge of  Ireland and patiently answer unending questions in his own delightful and courteous syle was a signficant contribution to a very good tour.

We look forward to recommending Rail Tours and David Gallagher to our friends.

My 87 year-old mother and I visited Ireland in late November 2009. We took the 4-day Grand Atlantic Tour; it was a wonderful experience. The day tours were very interesting, and our overnight accommodations were very clean - the staff incredible - especially at the Forster Court Hotel in Galway, convenient and comfortable. (The accomodations were arranged for us and couldn't have been nicer.)

Each day Railtours sent someone to pick us up at our hotel and transport us to the tour group with which we spent the day. The taxi drive from Killarney to Limerick was unexpected but delightful. The hotel packed our breakfast, and the driver visited with us throughout the 1.5 hour drive and then waited with us until our connecting bus arrived at the depot.

All Railtour staff were helpful, polite, and accommodating, but two guides, in particular, extended kindnesses to us that were beyond "great customer service." Liam Mooney paid special attention to my mom and adopted her as his companion for the day. He made certain that she could hear, see and experience all of the highlights of the tour. And, he assisted her in getting on/off buses, and the train, and shared coffee and conversation with her at the Cobh Musuem.

Dave Gallagher, while not a "guide" the day he toured with us, was also incredibly generous and kind. He visited with us throughout the tour, accompanied us from the bus back to the train, made sure my mom was comfortable and situated at the train depot, handled our luggage, made us comfortable on the train, and then delayed the end of his work day by giving us a ride from the train depot to our hotel at the end of the tour.

We could not have had a nicer trip if we had hired and toured the country with a private chauffer. We will recommend Railtours Ireland without hesitation.

I just recently went to Ireland with my mom, Patricia Crady, and my sister, Karen Summers. We went on a Railtours trip to the Giant's Causeway and another to Blarney Castle. Wow! The trips themselves were outstanding, but I just wanted to comment on our guides.

Noel Blake and Edmund Combe, without a doubt, help make these trips some of the most enjoyable outings I've ever been on. I just wanted to make sure you knew how special these guys are. They were friendly, patient, and so charming! I will be sure to recommend them and Railtours Ireland in the future, and when I return to Ireland I'm definitely re-booking.

We are writing to let you know that our recent train tour, with Dave Gallagher as our guide, was a huge highlight of our trip to Ireland. We received such personal attention and gained a wealth of information from Dave.

Suellen's family emigrated from County Cork and the trip to Cork and Cove were very meaningful and a lifetime memory.

We kept a few brochures to share with our travel agent here in the US. We have recommended your tours to others planning a trip to ireland.

Please extend our thanks and best wishes to Dave Gallagher. We hope to return to Ireland and enjoy another train trip with your company.

Sincerely,

Just want to say that I really enjoy the Ring of Kerry tour that I went last Saturday. Though there were some delay on the train, but the overall experience was great. The local guide was very entertaining and Dave (The railtour guide) really take good care of myself and the rest of the group.

Thanks. Diana. December 2009

I took your one-day tour of "Giant's Causeway" and I have to say it was the best part of my trip to Ireland. Your tour exceed all my expectations and then some. Our tour guide, Mr. Gallagher, was informative and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time. I will definitely book another tour with "Rail Tours Ireland" in the future. Actually...I'm looking at some now ! Cheers!

On 13.10.09 I went on the Cliffs of Moher tour at short notice. Might I say how good it was (my apologies for the distress I caused to your representative at Heuston Station by my late arrival). I enjoy rail travel in any case & the route you used makes good use of the lines. The trip was well designed. It allowed us to see lots of beautiful & varied countryside, ancient remains, interesting cities & villages as well as world famous Limerick Junction (keep the semaphores if you can). Everyone we met was friendly & helpful. Our guide Niall O’Neil was particularly good-he kept us informed & entertained throughout, made sure we didn’t get left behind & (through his wealth of knowledge) could answer any question we asked. It was possibly the best day’s guided tour I’ve ever had.

I just wanted to leave an e-mail to tell you how wonderful my experience was with Rail Tours!  My friend and I planned a trip to Ireland the second week of October, but didn’t feel comfortable renting a car, so we book with you.  We did the four day tour of Cork, Kerry, Dingle and Cliffs of Mohr.  It was well organized, very informational and took out all the planning and scheduling that we would normally have to take care of.  They tour guides and drivers would even take us off route to see some of the most amazing views I have ever seen.  These four days of our trip were absolutely amazing and I would recommend this to everyone that wants to sit back and enjoy.  A special thank you to Dave Gallagher!!!!!!!!

Thanks again!!!!

We would like to say a big thank you  to  Railtours Ireland and especially to Norman, who has been an amazing Host on the Giant’s Causeway Tour the 25th of September, and also to your reservation agents whose have been helpful and very kind. The people, the landscape and your life style have fill us with wonder!

It was our first visit to Ireland and we are so looking forward to come back!

Thank you for a wonderful trip. Billy, twice our guide, was delightful and very informative. We appreciated all the individual care, including a taxi to take the 3 of us from Killarney to Limerick, along with a great deal of freedom to be on our own when no tour was scheduled. My only regret is that we didn't schedule an additional day in Killarney to see some of the local sights so I guess I'll just have to plan a return trip to Killarney and include Northern Island next time round.

Just a note of appreciation to railtours! My girlfriend and I just returned from a wonderful 10 day trip to Ireland. We booked 2 tours with your company - October 8th (Thursday) to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burrens and October 12th (Monday) to the Rope Bridge and Giant Causeway. Words can't even begin to express how happy I was with both experiences. Out of the 10 days I was in Ireland these by far were my two favoriate days! Please can you pass on a big thank you to the following people on your staff - of course I don't know everyone's last names:

Thursday Trip to Cliffs (Oct. 8th) 2 buses went out!
Bob (Tour Guide)
Dave Gallagher (Tour Guide)
Vic (Driver)

Monday Trip to Northern Ireland (Oct. 12th)
Liam Mooney (Tour Guide)
Allan from Belfast (Driver and Guide)

These people were awesome! They totally made the trip. They were all so friendly, caring, funny, knowledgeable and really took excellent care of us! I was also amazed at the level of driving skill - the driver's are amazing! I didn't feel nervous at all. The timing was excellent - we just made connections perfectly between trains and buses - really didn't have to wait much at all. Loved the commentary about the things we were seeing - very helpful. They didn't overdo with talking. Pretty happy with the allotment of time at the various stops. Lunches were excellent as well. The countryside was spectacular and I will never forget it. So between the scenery and our guides/drivers the entrie experience was great!

The only downside is I didn't book more tours. If I ever get a chance to come back (and I really want too) - I would definitely use your company again as well as recommend you!

Sincerely,

We just took your 4 day Great southern & western coast tour & wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the tour, tourguide Noel & the great accomodation @ Beautys Home in Killarney. The pace, content & extra's provided by the our guide Noel,

My partner and I recently returned home from our trip to Ireland and we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed and appreciated your services.
We booked your 6-day "All-Ireland Tour". All of our transportation, transfers, coaches, trains, planes, etc., went off without a hitch; no problems with missed connections or standing around in a bus or train station feeling lost and abandoned. Our accommodations were first-rate. All of our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed and the hotels were beautiful and conveniently located. Most of all we enjoyed the people who represent your company. We especially enjoyed the days we spent with Billy, who took us out to Bunratty Castle and the Cliffs of Moher; and with Noel, who brought us to Blarney and Cobh. No doubt that Billy had kissed the old Blarney Stone at some point, as he definitely had the "gift of gab", and Noel was always at the ready with a good joke or an interesting story. We also enjoyed the tours we took with Owen and Norman, and our tour operator on Inis Mor was charming and informative. Our itinerary was certainly a full one, and even a bit tiring after a while, but had we not made the arrangements we made through your company, we would certainly never have seen or learned half of what we did. Thank you all so much for a job well done. We will certainly recommend your organization to anyone we know who is planning to visit Ireland.

I am writing you to compliment the tour guide on the Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, the Burren and Galway Bay tour. His Name was Miceal Bolger and the date of the tour was August 25, 2009. He was excellent, knowledgeable and very personable and a great asset to your company. Thank you again for an excellent tour.

Steve Bourdeau - Sept 2009

We would just like to thank Railtours and Dave Gallagher for helping to make our first trip to Ireland for our 25th wedding Anniversary this past August (2009) fabulous!
Our first tour was to The Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, The Burren and Galway Bay on August 20th. Dave was a wonderful guide, he visited with each and every person to make sure that they were comfortable and to help them if they had any questions. He was a very knowledgeable tour guide, it was obvious to everyone that he loved what he was doing, which made it even more enjoyable. He was very generous with his time and knowledge and helped us to plan the rest of our time in Ireland.
We even booked a second tour which was to the Giant's Causeway for the next Sat (Aug 23rd).
We can't say enough about Dave, except that now we are planning to go back to Ireland next August (2010) and will be looking to book more tours with Dave!

See you in 2010,

I have just come back from The Grand Atlantic Tour August 24-27, 2009 and I wish to congratulate you for the efficiency of your staff and the perfect organization of transports, hotels, places we visited.

In particular, our first and last guides (the guide from Dublin to Killarney and the coach driver in the tour of Connemara) were very well prepared and spoke very clearly also for us who are foreigners.
Thank you once again, best regards,

Dear Sir/Madam,
My sister and I went on a day tour to the Giants Causeway on Friday 21st. A very enjoyable day. I would like to tell you we had a tour guide called Norman. Well he made the day so special for us, giving us details of so many items while on the train, not shouting hoping everyone would hear – he took the trouble to go to each seat and told us each time – a very wonderful person, thank him.

Sir,
My wife and children (ages 3 and 6) took your Cliffs of Moher/Galway 1 day tour on Aug 25 2009 with your guide Miceal Bolger. It was great and in no small part due to the guide that led the tour. Over the course of the day he brought together a disparate grup of folk from around the world and provided us with an outstanding day of touring, historical information, Irish language and cultural info and a great sense of humour. He is obviously a real people person and seems to quite genuinly enjoy his job and his passion for Ireland.

He took the time to learn everyone's names and gave my kids (and everyone else on our train car) a great magic show - the levitating act I still have not been able to figure out. He provided a real personal touch and took the time to ensure we all knew where and when we had to be at all times. I was quite impressed with his manner in chiding those of our group who were late in returning to the bus - they got the message that they should not be late again but it was done in a very positive and professional manner.

We have travelled many places throughout the world with many guides and he is among the best - truly world class. He is a real asset for your company and a true ambassador for the country.

We will certainly request him for our next tour- whenever that may be.

Please pass along our appreciation and thanks to Miceal - it was a real pleasure to get to meet him.

Yours sincerely,

We just returned to our hotel after spending the day on the tour of: The Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, The Burren, and Galway Bay. It was a fantastic day! The sights were spectacular and worth seeing. Miceal was our guide, and he was alot of 'FOON', as he would say. He was very informative, humorous and professional.

Just wanted to let you know that what you're doing is great!

Thank you!

Dear Railtours Ireland,
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of taking your half day tour of the Wicklow Mountains, Ballykissangel, and Glendalough out of Dublin. We were on a business trip to the area and had a day to spend on our own. We are so glad we chose your company for touring. Your guide, Bob (don't know his last name) was friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and looked after us as if he were a good friend. His knowledge of the attractions added a lot to the tour and left us very satisfied at the end. The next time we're in Ireland-- and I hope that's very soon!-- we will definitely sign up for another Railtour. It was a first rate experience.

Dear Sir/Madame,
Myself and Mrs. Amina Mulatti, would like to thank Mr. Dave Gallagher, which he was our tour guide on the 31st of July to the Cliffs of Moher.

Mr. Gallagher, he was an outstanding guide throughout the entire tour, he made sure every one was OK at all time, and gaves us lots of information, in a clear and simple manner. Again we appreciated the professionalism and support that Mr. Gallagher had shown during the tour.

Kind regards

What a remarkable trip we had traveling to Northern Ireland and Giant’'s Causeway using Railtours (July 6). The beauty of the area is amazing.

But what made the trip was your tour guide, Dave Gallagher. Dave's organization of the tour was complete and his knowledge of the area was interesting and informative.Yet his greatest attribute as a tour guide was his ability to make everyone feel comfortable. He greeted everyone individually and spent time with each person or group making sure all needs were met. The locations Railtours selects for visitors to enjoy combined with the beauty of Ireland almost automatically make the tour successful . Yet what makes the tours extra special and memorable is a tour guide like Dave Gallagher.

Thanks, Lin and Chris Franken

My wife had always wanted to go to Ireland but I never really appreciated your country until I took her there for two weeks in June. We flew into Dublin, spent the night and then took a train to Cork and travelled around for eight days.

When we returned to Dublin we were staying at the Acadamy Hotel and Patricia at the desk told us of your tours to Northern Ireland. Well our last day there was spent with Dave Gallagher on a rail/coach tour of the Antrim Coast, Giants Causway, Carrick-a-Rede, and Bushmills. We would just like to thank him and Allen our coach driver for one of the best guided tours we have ever been on. They were funny, knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful, sympathetic and downright gentlemen then entire time. After we returned Dave even gave my wife and myself a lift back to our hotel. Your company has a great benefit in Dave Gallagher and I would highly recommend any tour hosted by him or Allen.

We recently spent 8 wonderful days in Ireland. Much of the pleasure was our time on your tours. We started with a very helpful agent, Katherine I believe, at your desk in the Tourist Center in Dublin. Our first tour was the train trip to Belfast and coach tour of the northern coast. Peter Kennedy was our guide.

Then we took the trip to Cork, two nights in Killarney, and one night in Galway. There were several guides. One was Noel and another was Miceal Bolger. He was the best. He mentioned that he was going to school to work on a second career in the tourism industry. I asked him if had been a teacher -- he said no and asked why I would guess that. I described for him several of his practices that are indicative of good teachers.

So thanks for making our trip a great experience.

Bob - United States June 2009

I had the pleasure of being on a tour to limerick, the cliffs of Moher and Galway Bay on the 6th June 2009. The tour guide was Miceal Bolger (or as we fondly called him, Mr. Fun)

I write to express my daughter Simran's and my appreciation of the care that Mr Bolger took of all of us on the tour. He was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable with relevant and detailed information, warm, funny, dependable and patient.

This tour was the highlight of our stay in Ireland and I would like to personally thank him for all his efforts.

I look foward to more tours with Railtour in the future.

Saran - Malaysia June 2009.

My wife, Barbara, and I were recently in Ireland for an American Airlines vacation that included two tours provided by Railtours Ireland. A highlight of our stay was the Cork and Blarney Castle Rail Tour from Dublin on May 19, 2009. The tour was guided by Dave Gallagher. Dave did a terrific job balancing the provision of information and care for the individuals or the tour. Dave had great knowledge of the subjects of the tour. He also showed sensitivity to the differing needs of the tour participants. We stayed with Dave throughout the tour and saw him handle superbly the needs of fellow participants that exhibited a wide range of language and personal needs. Thank you for having Dave available to us.

John C. Feldkamp, Bay Head, New Jersey, USA May 2009

On 5 May my wife and I had the pleasure of going on the Cliffs of Moher tour and David Gallagher was our tour guide. Dave made the trip an absolute delight. You could tell from the moment we met that Dave has a very real passion for what he does and will go out of his way to make the day special for everybody on the trip. Rail Tours Ireland is a very well run operation and we will highly recommend these tours to our friends and family. I am sure all of the tours guides are very good, but when my wife and I return to Ireland we hope we can book a tour that Dave is the guide for.

Dave thanks again for a great day (we enjoyed Brazen Head as well).

Last week my sister, son and I returned from spending a week in Dublin. The highlight of our trip to Ireland ws the three 1 Day Tours that we took with Railtours. The Tours allowed us to see much of the historic and spectacular sights in a short time period, as well as not trying to find our way around Ireland alone.

Our first tour was to the beautiful Cliffs of Moher, Burnratty Castle, & Galway Bay with our tour guide Dave Gallagher. Dave is a top notch professional with excellent interpersonal skills who provided valuable information throughout our tour. This first trip exceeded our expectations and as such we decided the 1/2 day tour to Wicklow Mountains, Ballykissagel & Glenalough. Billy our tour guide was not only very informative, but perservered through some very inclement weather to make sure we received the full benefit of our trip. Not only was the sights tremendous during this tour, but the serenity and clean fresh air around Glenalough made this trip worth it even with the inclement weather. We capped off our final tour with the trip to the Giant Causway. Our tour guide Peter Kennedy and our bus driver Allan, made this trip a great way to end our visit to Ireland. The spectacular view of Northern Ireland was tremendous. All three tours will be memorable for us for a long time to come. When I return to Ireland I plan on taking some of your additional tours. I have and will recommend your tours to others.

We also received outstanding assistance in arranging our tours from Jennifer and Alexandria at your office across from Connolly Train Station.

Thanks for making our visit to Ireland such a memorable event.

My wife and I have just returned from a visit to Ireland, which included three days spent on your tour of Cork, Blarney, the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher.

We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.

In particular, we wanted to commend Marie, who was our guide both on the first day of the tour, Wednesday 4/15, and again on Friday for the Cliffs of Moher. Her friendliness, sense of humor and her knowledge about the sights we were touring really added to our pleasure.

We also wanted to tell you how thoroughly we enjoyed our stay at the Beauty's Home bed & breakfast in Killarney. The owners were extremely friendly and efficient, and the cooked-to-order breakfasts were excellent. Frankly, our stay there turned out to be in a room much nicer than the small room we had at a Dublin hotel!

Again, our thanks for an extremely enjoyable experience. This was our first visit to Ireland. We trust it will not be our last.

With best wishes

I just wanted to write a quick note and say thank-you to all of your staff who made our tour of Ireland so enjoyable. Everyone we came across during our trip were so friendly and helpful. We did the 4 day tour and loved it. Ireland was just beautiful and I hope to return someday soon and share it with my husband. I do wish I had more time to spend in Dublin as well. One person in particular was very helpful to me and I would like to thank him. I am not sure he is a Railtours employee, as he drove the bus from Limmerick the day we visited Bunratty Castle and the Cliffs of Moher on March 26. His name was Victor and our guide that day was Pat. If you can help me I would appreciate it, I wanted to send a thank-you note but I only had his first name.
Thank you again,

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our Rail Tour trip from Dublin to Cork on February 13. A big part of that enjoyment came from the services of our tour guide, Dave Gallagher. Dave was very informative and interesting and took the time to individually speak to all the guests to explain the tour. He was also very helpful about informing us on places and restaurants in Dublin that proved to be very good. Dave is a real asset to your company and we look forward to returning to Ireland and hopefully taking more rail tours.

Just returned to the States from our 25th Wedding Anniversary trip to
Ireland. The rail tour we took with your company was exceptional.
Having never visited Ireland, I wanted to be able to see the most in the
easiest way, as my husband's family was originally from Ireland, and this
was my gift to him. I also wanted to enjoy our vacation and kick back and
relax while someone else took care of the details. We chose the
Galway/Cliffs of Moher tour and it was sensational. Our guide was Noel, and
he was terrific. From the moment we entered the station at 7 in the morning
until we returned at 9 that night, he was attentive and accommodating and it
was effortless on our part. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
Your country is beautiful, but the best part was talking politics with Noel
on the train ride home. I will definitely be back with my children so they
can enjoy the country of their origin. P.S. Noel definitely deserves a
raise!
Many thanks. Debra Ward, Staten Island, New York.

In July, 2008, my 15 year old son and I took two of your rail tours. The first tour was to Wicklow/Avoca/Ballykissangel. Not only was our weather unusually clear, but our tour guide, John, was amazing. He was so personable and knowledgeable, we wished he could have accompanied us throughout all of Ireland. My only disappointment was the duration - it was too short! :-) Our next tour was the 4 day, Cork/Kerry/Dingle/Cliffs of Moher tour. Again, we had friendly drivers, fantastic tour guides, and in spite of the rain, every attempt was made for memorable pictures. We have a soft spot in our hearts for Killarney, and enjoyed our time and travels spent with the staff of Railtours of Ireland!

We highly recommend your tours to all, and can't wait to visit Ireland again!

I wanted to send you a big big "Thank You" for the great tours I had with Railtours Ireland during the last two months. Unfortunately, I am leaving Ireland this Thursday after two months of internship. So I have to save the Aran Islands tour for my next trip to Ireland - it's the only tour I have not yet been on. ;)
Thank you for a great time, I saw a lot of Ireland and had always very nice tour guides. Please send greetings to Billy, Vincent, Pat and my "personal tour guide" John! Keep up the good work!

Kind regards & best wishes,

I, and 3 friends have just come back from a long weekend to Dublin and luckily came upon your railtours brochure in our hotel. We booked to travel on the Wicklow/Avoca/Glendalough tour and we over the moon that we did !
Our tour-guide, Edmond ( Combe ?) was absolutely brilliant, what an asset to your company he is. Not only did he have second to none knowledge of the area, he was witty and courteous too. I would also like to pass our thanks to Tony , our coach driver who was a lovely man, and also a fabulous driver, how he handled that coach through those narrow lanes I shall never know !!
Could you also pass on our thanks to your colleague ( who borrowed my friends pen, then mistakenly left it in the office) as he went to real lengths to return it - even dropping it off at our hotel on his return from work. We received the pen from reception - which really wasn't necessary. but just goes to show the commitment of your staff.
I have recommended all my friends to you and hopefully when I come back to Dublin with my family I shall be booking with you again.

Well done on a thoroughly professional and interesting tour.

Kind regards

We are just back and to be honest, everything went very well. We would like to point out that both, the Wicklow and the Grand Atlantic tours are very interesting and that the organization of the tours was also very good. The guides were very nice people and they did their best to give us loads of information.

We will keep in touch for any other tour that we may book in the future as the experience was very positive

Saludos cordiales,

Recently, my Mom and I were in Dublin and signed up with your company to take tours in and around Dublin.

I am pleased to write this note for Liam Mooney. We took 4 tours and each were better that the other. What made it the best, was the tour director by the name of Liam Mooney. He was absolutely terrific. Not only informative, but extremely friendly, could answer any questions and ALWAYS on top of the group. He made our tours absolutely wonderful with his great personality and knowledge.

Unexpectingly bumbled upon Railtours at the Dublin Info Centre and glad I did! My time in Ireland was limited to eight days and as a result booked 3 tours in a row: The Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, Burren and Galway Bay, the Giants Causeway and the Aran Islands. What a wonderful way in a short time to see and experience Ireland with informed and always congenial Railtour hosts, ie, Maria and David. Many thanks for making my Ireland stay a memorable one. Railtours comes highly recommended from a Canadian:
June Conway Sept 9, 2008.

I went on the Wicklow Mountaineer half day tour and thoroughly enjoyed it.The bus driver was courteous and drove well.John, our guide (host) was knowledgable and spoke slowly and clearly which helped when there were many nationalities on board.
I shall remember my tour of today very well !

I recently did two tours with you. I found your guides to be punctual, well informed and ready to share their wealth of knowledge about the country and the sites. Both the guides had additional literature available on the train. It was a brilliant experience…..Overall I thin your tours are a great idea and I will recommend them to all my friends travelling to Ireland.

I was in Dublin recently and took the trip to Belfast and The Giants Causeway. Would just like to say that everything was brilliant from the onset. Met by the guide who was full of info all the way and the bus driver was the best ever, going out of his way to show us what he obviously loves about the city. Will tell everybody I know about the experience. Thank you so much.

My friends and I had a very short trip to Ireland and decided we wanted to make the best of our short five days. We decided to take your tour one-day tour to Bunratty Castle, The Burren, and The Cliffs Of Moher. I have taken tours all over the world and this had to be one of the best tours I have taken, Not only were the locations great – The Cliffs were amazing – but we had such an enjoyable time with our tour guide – Miceal. He was fun and full of great information for us. He is really amazing!
Thanks again for the great tour and the great tour guide your company supplied.

I would like to thank you for a wonderful day tour we had from Limerick to Galway Bay on Wednesday the 2nd of April. It was first class all the way both with the places we visited and the information given by our excellent tour guide. The lunch stop was also first class – the meals were excellent. The tour guide had a grreat sense of humour and was an ideal guide.
Thanks again
Great value for money. We look forward to our nest trip with you.

Hello we have enclosed some photos of you and your friends taken on our recent trip to Connemara. They tell a good story of  a great place and the people and we thought that you would enjoy having them, You made our trip so much more memorable by sharing your vast knowledge with us as we drove the miles between Galway and Connmemara and back again. Not only was it a day filled with exceptional beuaty and glorious weather, but the thing that really gave it a very special quality was your ability to capture the essence of Ireland; the history, the people, the beauty and put it into beautiful words with such passion. You were our teacher for that day and we truly appreciate our experience with you on the road to Connemara. It was a great day that we wished we could linger in and enjoy longer.
Thank you for making our day wonderful.
A day filled with wonder.

Everything was perfect – the guides always there and very knowledgeable, helpful and informative. The bed and breakfast in Killarney was just fabulous and the hotels in Galway and Dublin very good.

….My two sisters and I returned from our first trip to Ireland last week. While in Ireland we had planned to drive to Cork, but chose to join a day tour instead and are so happy we chose Railtours Ireland.Com. We took the Cork/Blarney Castle and Queenstown Story tour and enjoyed it so much that we booked another tour to Waterford/Kilkenny a few days later. We all hope to return to Ireland and will definitely plan additional tours.
Thanks to you and all your wonderful staff for two memorable days!

Hello,
I took the Limerick to Galway tour on September 14th and wanted to let you know it was fantastic. Our tour guide did a great job describing the points of interest along with his added humour. The trip was worth the time, seeing I only had one day to travel.

My husband and I were in Ireland two weeks ago and took the day tour to The Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, The Burren and Galway Bay. We enjoyed the trip so much and learned a tremendous amount of Irelands history from our tour host. Our guide was very conscientious and made it his business to keep track of everyone and see that everyone had a good time and were able to get great pictures.

Thanks a lot and if we ever make it back to Ireland we will be sure to take another one of your tours.
