Connemara

Connemara is home some of Ireland's most beautiful nature spots, from purple mountains rolling down to blue and green rocky valleys, reflecting the rich and varied colours of Connemara. At Maam Cross, the Connemara "crossroads", there is a replica of the cottage used in the 1950s John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara film ‘The Quiet Man’, which was filmed there. Our tour stops off at this location for a photo opportunity.

Kylemore Abbey

Kylemore Abbey is an 18th century castle, now owned by the Benedictine nuns who run an excellent pottery, gift shop and restaurant here.

Galway City

Galway is a vibrant university city, full of fantastic pubs and restaurants, many with traditional Irish music. Listen out for the Irish language - Gaeilge - being spoken by some locals and take in the many and varied cultural experiences awaiting you.

The Sky Road

The Sky Road offers a truly satisfying photo stop with phenomenal views of the wild Atlantic Ocean! Our Connemara tour takes in the views along the Sky Road before descending into the lovely town of Clifden, Connemara's Capital, for a comfort stop where there will be time for some shopping – or even a pint or two!
